Tikin Xic Snack Bar - COZUMEL

One of their employees lied and said the other snack bar was for locals only. Tikin Xic only accepted cash while the other bar (El Cielo) also accepted credit. We only discovered it when we had ordered it. I also heard their staff... try life jacket rentals to several cruise ship passengers cruise ship passengers who actually get life vests free at the Explora Club just down on the beach.

Love the couple that owns this little snack bar. Great service, great food. Can either eat at the picnic tables or at your beach chairs. Definitely worth the visit and we will be back. Great chips and guac, quesadillas and tacos.

First the beach is gorgeous, clear water. White sand. Punta sur is a sight to behold! Tikin Xic adds to the atmosphere! It's a small hut inside Punta sur park. Past the larger beach clubs. All the way at the end. A few beach chairs...(which is usually enough), some picnic tables, and hammocks. Cold beer, and for sure some of the best food on the island! Chicken fajitas are wonderful. Fish tacos were great. My kids had fish fillet (grouper) and raved about it! Ismial (I hope that's right) has taken care of us so well! My family of five went friday and Saturday and felt so pampered. Prices were cheap. We LOVE this place! See you when we come back!!

We spend a great day on the beach, the service was good, but in the end they charge us a huge bill. We check with them everything and they have even charged us 2 different bills in our account. Of course, we were in a whore to go and they have slowly checked the account. You just fix the bill a little. We will not recommend the place of our family and friends.

We were in Punta Sur National Park. Paid Entrence fee and were said to contain sun loungers and parasols. The waiter of Tikin-Xic tried to cheat us. He said we had to order food or pay him $20 for two sunbeds and an umbrella....We went outside and asked and said it wasn't true. Don't let them cheat you!
