La Cocina de Silvia - COZUMEL

This is my 5th trip to Cozumel in two years and this is my go to breakfast place. Prices are great and you will not leave hungry!! Come check it out if in town.

Very accommodating and wow what a fabulous breakfast. Every order comes with coffee or tea, fresh local fruit (whatever is in season) your order of breakfast and we also got carrot cake! Amazing we couldn't eat it all. My friend had the chilaquiles and I had an omelette, so much to choose from and I am sure all exceptionally good.

Read good reviews and we both ordered huevos rancheros, which came with juice, fruit, toast, and coffee. It was supposed to be 200 pesos, but la cuenta said 300, and we left another 100 as a tip. We'd walked about twenty blocks to get there, and halfway home, I realized they'd overcharged us 50%. Bill was 300 pesos, but should have been 200. So watch their charges.

Food is awesome, simple, fresh and wholesome, prepared and served with care and just great people presence. A hidden gem!

Fantastic. Liked it so much we came back. Breakfast and lunch were both spectacular. The chilaquile is made from scratch, as is everything here, and is the BEST! Sylvia and Dennis staff were very hospitable. We’ll be back
