The Quarry - Cowra

What a wonderful experience for a long lunch. Everything was superb. The wine, the food/menu and service. And all priced very reasonably for quality food. The personal service was excellent. We could not have asked for a better place for a long lunch with friends. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We will definitely visit again.

I don't often write reviews, but The Quarry Restaurant in Cowra deserves to be acknowledged for their Friendly Service, Amazing food and the selection of great local wines. This has to be one of the best Restaurants I have been to in many years. Will definitely be back.

Relaxed and welcoming surrounds and decor at this surprising little gem in Cowra . A superb varied menu gives you freedom of choice along with the accompaniment of locals wines makes this a pleasurable evening. The staff are very attentive and helpful with menu choices

We had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant last Saturday night, We had the pork belly and soft shell crab for entrees followed by Rib eye steak ordered medium rare, Lamb rump and the duck confit, The steak came out cooked to perfection and was very tasty. We couldn’t help ourselves and ordered dessert too. Everything was delicious and plated so beautifully. The staff were very friendly and attentive, we will be back.

Potentially lovely destination let down by characterless space, and after waiting over 75 minutes, still never got our food. The view out of the window looked out to unkept potplants and garden refuse. It was ridiculously expensive $50 for a steak which they didn't have anyway), and the wine was stale. They get one star simply for the brave and courteous face the two young women put on on front of house. Diabolical!
