Bidrage med feedbackWe'd travelled from Victoria for the day and not had breakfast yet It was going on 1:00 p.mand we were hungry.
Great way to start your day!We shared a smoothie and chowed down on the delicious French toast, local sausages, tasty hash br potatoes and excellent coffee. Sat on the patio, soaked up some rays....what more can you ask for?Recommend you stop by for the food and the friendly service.
We were staying at the nearby hotel but its restaurant was closed on Victoria Day. We decided to stroll through the little village to look for breakfast. There was a sign in front that said "Best in the Bay" so we thought we would put it to the test. We were not disappointed. The coffee was delicious. I had the corn beef hash and my husband had the french toast combo. Both were very generous portions and very delicious. Our kids came later in the day to visit us at the hotel and we decided to go back there for lunch. The fish tacos and chicken quesadillas were amazing. What makes the food so good is not only the cook's skills, but also the locally sourced ingredients which require no preservatives. We will definitely be back when we visit Cow Bay again.
I was all set to go to Get Phil'd Up and the hotel front desk person suggested the hotel (of course) or two other places. To quote her, "My teen and husband leave there hungry." She was wrong. I had my breakfast tacos, coffee, and took my leftovers home. The hubster had corned beef hash and also had leftovers. We sat outside in the patio, but we could have sat inside up near the kitchen or outside closer to the water. The service was great and the food was perfect. We had to wait some, but on a busy weekend morning that wasn't too surprising. Check them out!
We had ended up staying in a hotel nearby and were looking for a cup of coffee in the morning. We ended with great coffee and a wonderful breakfast.
