Forage Farm Shop And Kitchen

The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was truly enjoyable. The shop was delightfully unique! We ended up spending quite a bit! Highly recommended!

I found the pumpkin picking experience to be disappointing compared to other places I've visited. It costs £18.50 for two cars just to enter and explore, and on top of that, you have to pay separately for the pumpkins. Although we came equipped with wellies and waterproof gear, the ground was extremely muddy. The play area was particularly bad; it was so muddy that the little ones were struggling to walk and kept getting stuck and falling over. It’s honestly not worth the hassle of cleaning the pushchair and car afterward. The play area itself was quite underwhelming as well. Overall, there are definitely better pumpkin patches out there for the price.

I don't mind paying more than average for breakfast, but once the price exceeds £10 without toast, it needs to be exceptional. The mushrooms were overcooked, the bacon was dry, and the rösti was so small I nearly overlooked it. The toast, which was an extra cost, came with what I believe was margarine; at that price, it should definitely be served with either salted or lightly salted butter. For comparison, there's a café in Bridgend called Coffee@12 where you can get a breakfast with toast for £7.50, and it's always cooked to order. Overall, I was disappointed with this visit.

Called in for a impromptu brunch with the wife , lovely welcome and service was good , clean and light room made for a good atmosphere, food was quality as was the coal house coffee , a little browse through the shop to finish off a very pleasant hour . Thank you Forage for a nice meal.
