Great home style japanese cuisine. I really loved the customer service and had great tasting food to back it up. Definitely a small place but perfect for a small family. Definitely recommend if your in the area

Sushi was nicely prepared, fresh ingredients, and hospitable service. It’s very intimate atmosphere and clean dining tables. Authentic.

The Chirashi was good, but it didn't quite measure up to my favorite restaurant. The fish was tasty, but the plain rice was a bit disappointing - it should have been sushi rice with rice vinegar. The portion of fish was a bit small compared to the amount of pickled vegetables. The presentation was lovely though. Next time, I'll try the combo which looked very appetizing. Our waitress, the younger of the two and non-Japanese speaking, unfortunately didn't come by to see if we needed refills on our tea and water.

Yashica Restaurant is located off the beaten path for us. We were impressed with the top-notch food and friendly service in this quaint, bustling family-run establishment.

Very disappointed. Will not return again online menu is not updated. My mother turned 91 today her pork cutlet soggy due to eggs and onions placed on top instead of to the side. Definitely not the birthday we hoped to give her.
