The Mount Pleasant - Coventry

We booked a table for 6 adults for lunch at 1.30pm, got there 20 minutes early our table was ready, ordered drinks and within 15 minutes ordered our food, There was a real good choice, some really good lunchtime deals, however we just ordered 6 mains and extras, all the meals came together really cooked fresh so hot and good portion sizes. Everyone enjoyed there food and will definately be going back, Wednesday lunch a bottle of house wine for £7.99 and alcohol free drinks for the drivers were 2 for £4 really good choice as well. Service was excellent very friendly very professional. lovely clean pub and restaurant. Thank you staff at the Mount Pleasant for a lovely afternoon with family. Oh and the chips were great crunchy and soft in the middle.

Absoulutly brilliant staff milly and Connor were on there own nearly and they managed the bar and cleared the tables as quick ad they could even though they were short staffed they both did brilliant. Milly had people queing and moaning at the bat and dealt with the situation professionally Some acknowledgement for both Connor and milly is definetly needed Jo

A recent visit with a couple of friends for a birthday meal. We were greeted well, bar staff warm and welcoming. Order our meals again great serving staff, very friendly. Sadly found the food to be of poor quality, seemed to be from a cheap budget range. Sausages appeared to of poor quality low meat content, other food again seemed to be budget range not of the quality we would expect. Sad disappointment.

I met my friends there for lunch on Saturday. Usually we enjoy it here. But we all ordered our meals and they never had any of them. Really??!! Out of 5 meals none of us got what we wanted. All had to order an alternative. Very disappointing. When we asked the waitress she didn’t have a clue why nothing was in stock. C’mon guys sort it out.

Susie behind the bar was so nice. Made sure me and my family were looked after. Can't compliment her enough. Thankyou susie.xxx
