Indiana - Coventry

This restaurant serves fantastic food, even carefully catered for my allergies, at a good price. What is so disappointing is that the service is really awful, we've been several times now when there's been few customers but the staff just staff behind the bar chatting....Tonight I asked times for the table to be cleared before it was done! The coffee machine wasn't on and the waiter didn't know how to work it so had to wait for the boss to show him, causing a long delay for my end of meal coffee. Sorry but I won't be going back despite the good food, there are other restaurants around who offer good food and service

Staff are friendly especially the waiter ibby hospitable and very accomadating! Would definately visit again!

Takeaway arrived, put it down temporarily on my cream leather sofa. On picking it up the bag ripped and one of the curries spilt everywhere, including onto my clothes. Took ages to clean up and the sofa still shows curry staining. Called to complain that...the lid was not secured on one of the curries and there was no plastic bag used inside the outer brown paper bag. The staff member was very rude and condescending and said a bag was used when clearly it was not. Will never order from these clowns again!

If you visit here make sure you work out your bill before you go. Tonight we decided to try a new Indian takeaway and ended up ordering from Indiana Restaurant and collecting the food ourselves which should have given us a discount. Based on...the takeaway menu we were given with our food, our food order should have come to and with off that we should have paid We actually paid but our order didn't include the chips we asked for or the discount for collecting it. Turning to the food it was ok but nothing special. The chicken tikka masala and chicken jalfrezi were good but not exceptional. The tandoori king prawn masala and tandoori king prawn jalfrezi were very overpriced as they are nearly double the price of their chicken/lamb counterparts yet each one had only prawns in it. That small number of prawns doesn't add up to an extra per meal in my view. The fried rice, garlic rice and keema rice were tasty but the keema nan bread looked like it was made when King Tut was pharaoh because it was so dry and hardly had any meat in it. Can't say anything about the chips we ordered because we didn't get them. Finally the popadoms and mint were good. All things considered it was an average meal. We probably will return again in the future but I don't think we have found our new favourite takeaway. If we do go back I will be taking my own calculator with me because the one in the restaurant is faulty.

The loveliest Indian meal so far in Coventry I love Indian food and by far this is now my fav place , quiet and relaxed shame it was empty later on as people don't know what they r missing bad location but the...food is great xx
