De Laban - Coventry

This was my first time visiting and I will definitely return. The service was a bit slow between courses, but it was a busy Tuesday evening. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great food and service, second time we've been here in a big group and I could not fault any of the dishes. All very tasty.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes and always cooks them consistently. We have been a few times now and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend making a reservation on the weekends as it can get very busy, especially right when they open. The only suggestion I have is that they should focus more on the dining-in experience rather than the takeout business. We experienced a long wait between ordering and receiving our food. However, the food was delicious and well worth the wait. It is also reasonably priced. Keep in mind that they are not licensed to serve alcohol, so be sure to bring your own beer.

The food was delicious as always. The chef accommodated my request to cook my meal without Ghee or oil, which I appreciated as I find them too greasy. However, I think the delivery drivers should be provided with insulated bags to keep the food warm. When my order arrived, it was lukewarm, which was disappointing. I saw the driver had placed the food in a paper bag on the passenger seat, which may have contributed to the temperature drop. This didn't deter me from enjoying my meal this time, but if it happens again, I may need to consider ordering from elsewhere.
