Scottys Deli - Cove

What a fantastic discovery in the mountains! As soon as I saw they offered fried catfish, my stomach started growling. I ordered five pieces, thinking I would save some for later, but that’s not happening. It’s just too delicious!

We were just passing through and decided to stop for a quick breakfast. We really enjoyed the inspirational quotes and scriptures featured on the napkin holders and even on the fried pies! The restrooms were very clean. The food was good, but we were a bit disappointed with the size of the western omelet given its price. On a positive note, the lady who brought our food out had a lovely smile!

The hamburger basket is the best, and the fish is fantastic as well! The staff is always friendly.

These FOLKS are so friendly. This store is the closest to my real HOME in Idaho. The area is beautiful. Total country folk. Great hot food, clean restroom, gas was $0.08 less then anywhere else within 144 Miles. A lot of people were in line to fill up and when I came back through they were out of diesel and every thing but regular unleaded. Which was great with me. I got amazing gas milage back so the gas was definatly good. It's nice to see people smile. I just felt really welcomed here. I don't always feel that when I'm on trips. Sometimes folks are different with peoplee outside their community. I recommend stopping here. The prices in store are also reasonable and the chicken strip and potato's are moist and fresh.

The food that is served here is top notch and always fresh. I've never been disappointed.
