Fluid Bar Grill - Courtenay

The restaurant has declined over the past two years under new ownership. Portions are smaller and the food is less accurately made. Despite this, the staff are friendly and the overall taste of the food is still good. However, the execution is not as strong as it used to be. The service remains excellent.

I stopped by this restaurant for a quick drink over the weekend and decided to sit on the patio because the weather was unexpectedly warm and sunny. The server was incredibly friendly and efficient, the beer was cold and delicious. I wish we could have stayed longer at Fluid. We will definitely return next time we are in Courtenay!

Great restaurant. We knew by the Wednesday night full parking lot at 9pm that it must be good- and no let downs. Great service, food was delicious, short but good wine list. I had the clam chowder as my side, but it was really the star or the meal. Hubbyhad Jambalaya and loved it.

Great restaurant with a lovely patio. The food was enjoyable we had the jambalaya, steak salad, and chicken nachos. Service was also good. Greatly appreciated that right on the sign it says children are welcome best restaurant high chairs we havecome across complete with tray and working straps. Our children were treated well. Also has an accessible washroom with changetable.

I went to this restaurant based on a recommendation for their gluten-free options for my daughter, who has Celiac disease. We were not disappointed - she was able to enjoy her meal without any worries. My granddaughter ordered her favorite dish from the kids menu. Both my sister and I enjoyed our meals, even though it was hard to decide from the menu. Our server was excellent and our meals and drinks arrived in a timely manner. I will definitely return to this restaurant next time I am in town.
