The Whistling Teapot - County Durham

We were in search of a breakfast spot in the area and stumbled upon The Whistling Teapot, which turned out to be a delightful discovery. The breakfast we had was delicious and the service was friendly.

Cheap ingredients and price inconsistencies although staff friendly. Have to ask for sauces which are passed around in unhygienic glass bottles. Jury is still out.

Went for breakfast with wife and two kids. Missus is a coeliac (no gluten) and we both had a great full English whilst both kids had two great sausage sandwiches. Food is always nice here and staff very polite and helpful.

Men only Breakfast Club Meet here every Wednesday morning for an orange juice/T or Coffee and a bacon buttie or full breakfast. Very friendly staff and good service. a good place to meet and put the world to rights.
