Absolutely fab food , kids played on outdoor play area even though is was cold , will definitely be back , thank you

Terrable service was an absolute joke, pre ordered the food for a party of 13, to be told they didn't have the food in some of the party ordered and when asked to choose an alternative they didn't have that either, we where told the chef had rang in sick today and they had got a replacement one ? Waited an hour and a half for food to come out if you can call it that food was burnt actually it was cremated !!!! We could not eat it so politely spoke to the gentleman in charge to be told if we where not going to eat it we would have to leave as he would need the table, so of course we left dissapointed, hungry and let down as was a birthday celebration meal, customer service was terrible, and if that was a chef cooking the food he needs to find another career!! Needless to say we will never return.

Disappointing. Staff were very pleasant but food mediocre at best. Previously disappointed but got excited to hear there is a new chef so booked a table in support if this is a new chef then not inspiring at all. One thing they had previously had was good chips now they're gone only dry skinny fries served excuse about suppliers but to be fair Tesco sell potatoes and open all weekend if you really want to please the customers? Soulless and no atmosphere. Very very basic.

We booked a table for 6.30 on a Friday night, food was honestly lovely it's just a shame we waited nearly 40 minutes for two salmon dishes when we were the only people eating at the time and the football was blaring all the way through the pub. We felt like we were trying to eat our tea in the middle of a foodball match! Do not go hear if you want a quiet meal, it's such a shame as the food is lovely. I think the Huntsman need to decide what they want to be or at least separate the place into a dining area and a drinking area, it doesn't work having the whole place as a sports bar.

Poor customer service, Called in to have Drink and maybe a meal , Staff member over familiar and rude I am sorry but not the way to talk to customer and I quote . No walk-ins tonight love . Not good won’t go back
