The Golden Valley - County Durham

Always very good and quality food. Chicken mixed vegetables, Spring rolls , salt and pepper chicken, chicken balls and sauces all very nice.

Used this takeaway because our usual was closed. No duck skin so no crispiness and the shredded meat was entirely bland, tepid and poor in texture. I would guess bought in ready cooked, plus it was a few dearer than we normally pay for a far superior product. I am astounded at the good reviews on here TBH as I have asked several people who live in the village (we don't) and I am yet to hear anyone say anything complementary about The Golden Valley.

They have a great choice and everything we have had as been great. The staff are lovely and very helpful

Tried this Chinese takeaway for the first time tonight after the demise in service and food quality from our regular outlet a few miles away. The service was excellent, served with a smile and impeccable manners and the food was fantastic!! This is my/our new regular Chinese from now on. Highly recommended!!

Takeaway only but you can order by phone and pick up to save time. Lovely pleasant family run business. Service is very friendly and they are always eager to please. The food has always been to a good standard and we are regular visitors.
