The Foundry Fish - County Durham

Local Fish Bar sometimes food is very good, sometimes leaves a lot to be desired i.e. warm chips, dry fish. I suppose worth a try if you are hungry you might be lucky enough to find the on a good day.

First time I be to this Fishshop it was so lovely the fish batter was amazing the main plus point is the quality of the fish and chips which is first class, the staff are so friendly :

Have been a regular customer up until the last couple of weeks when unfortunately the quality of the fish seems to have fallen from their usual high standards, sadly they're now on the reserve list of fish shops to visit.

The fish and chips at this restaurant are of excellent quality, very tasty and cooked perfectly. They also offer a wide variety of choices on their menu. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous.

My husband and I ordered the fish and chips, which were not very traditional. They were extremely oily and the chips were hard. I would not go back again.
