La Piazza - County Durham

Absolutely amazing and I love a pizza this is up there with some of the best I had. the personal was really friendly, the place is beautiful and well designed. the prices are ideal for the quality of the food they receive. could not recommend this place enough. 2nd night here. had lasagne and spaghetti with meatballs. once again the personal was so friendly and welcoming. the food was presented well and very hot. Very good.

Beautiful restaurant. friendly staff. good prices especially with the daily offer. beautiful setting and very clean. they also brought a free garlic bread for our table when we first arrived, which was a nice note. the only reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5 is that the music leaves it down. Pop music that spoils the atmosphere would have been for a calmer more chilled music or better some Italian music.

Fantastic meal with amazing service from team! eating was full of taste, fresh and visually appealing. would be happy to return to near future. Personally, I recommend to finish the chicken gourjons starter, meat festival pizza and a chocolate-fry cake. in drinks there is a large selection, although I would recommend introducing a few cocktails into the menu. Service team was excellent, would not be fair to honor a single team member.

Had the 3-course menu, great worth and nice eating. I'm usually not a fan of pizza, but the one I had was excellent. I think it was called diavlo a spicy meat meal.

The restaurant had very poor service. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we had to wait 15 minutes for a table for 5. Once seated, the waiter/waitress refused to take our lunch order despite us seeking assistance multiple times. The supervisor, a lady wearing glasses, even had the audacity to ask us to wait for 2 minutes and they would come to us. It was clear that they were not interested in providing us with their services, so we decided to leave.
