Golden Flower - County Durham

Due to it being a Monday and our regular takeaway being closed,we were recommended to try Golden Flower. The king prawn curry,fried rice, and the szechuan chicken,chips were well cooked and tasty.The portions were a good size. The delivery service was efficient although a touch expensive,which was understandable due to the distance travelled.This said when the food arrived it was still hot. We would definitely recommend this establishment

First over charged wrong order great apolicitic at first we go to eat food crispy beef shocking like chewing cardboard crispyer than the prawn cracers worse I have ever had salt pepper chips minus the salt pepper never again no matter what compensation offered us terrible

We ordered this to be delivered to a remote farmhouse and they said it might take an hour. It arrived after 30 minutes and was delicious, warm and tasty. Okay it wasn't cheap but it was worth every penny.

DIsgusting. Ordered takeaway on a Saturday night as a treat. Picked it up after a 4 mile drive home. Went to put out crispy noodles .Surface looked fine as chicken and prawn was on top. However once I attempted to put noodles out discovred the noodles were not cooked and all stuck together in a big clump. Dry raw noodles ???? Rang to complain after a 5 min discussion with the boss ,a lady took the phone and tried to tell me they fried the noodles and they were meant to be crispy ! I tried to say they were not cooked and she said if i brought them back she would cook another dish. Not good enough. We refused to go back and left it on a promise for a free dish next time. We had ordered a curry, rice and chips as well so just decided to share this. However this too was disgusting not fresh, tasteless and bland. Chips disgusting too no taste and not fresh..What a waste of £20. What has gone wrong ? Used to be nice with fresh ingredients however i will never use Golden Flower again worst chinese ever tasted and most of it went in the bin. Raging and massively disappointed at the quality.

My partner collected a take away of Rice, chips and gravy, 5 minutes later when she arrived home the food was cold and needed to be microwaved. Obviously this was not cooked to order. Disgusting
