Deano's Trattoria - County Durham

We attended a family party at this restaurant and the food was amazing. The staff was also very friendly. We will definitely be coming back soon and I highly recommend this place to everyone.

This was our first visit to Deanos in quite some time. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that the restaurant is now under new management. The newly refurbished dining area was beautiful, and we especially enjoyed the comfortable new chairs. The service, food, and wine were all top-notch, and the pricing was very reasonable. Overall, we were highly impressed with our dining experience and look forward to returning soon. Thank you.

Great restaurant. We all enjoyed our food. Good value, attentive staff and something for everyone on the menu. Nice to find a traditional Italian restaurant serving excellent food.

Just not the same as it used to be. Welcome was cool…room was cool. One waitress dressed in casual clothes and often wanting to sit on window ledge to check phone. Uneasy atmosphere with constant pacing of track suited young men from kitchen through front door then back again. It just didn’t seem as slick and professional as it used to be. Had to wait a while for food. My meal chicken and peppercorn sauce was poor. Chicken was tough with gristle. The accompanying veg was limp and smelled as if it came out of a bag that had been stored for a long time…not good. The actual building/ toilets have seen better days. New management?
