Pilot Travel Center - Council Bluffs

I just had the most incredible experience at this Pilot Travel Center. Brandy and Zach were so helpful and friendly in helping me purchase some fabulous hoodies. Stop by and they will make you feel special too. Thank you and big Kudos.

Cool one.. small clean parking lot and store, clean good showers, truck wash, food, texas road house, bass pro shop near by, walmart 2 miles, people are cool. No milk dispenser for coffee

I visited Fuel on Saturday night, October 22, 2022, and later discovered on Sunday that my fuel card had been hacked. I'm uncertain whether someone used a scanner in the parking lot or if there was a breach in the Pilot Flying J system. If you're unable to purchase fuel independently, perhaps trucking isn't the right field for you.

The restaurant offers an impressive variety of food and drinks. They have an extensive selection of candy that you typically won't find at gas stations, as well as numerous beef jerky choices. However, I noticed that the restrooms appeared somewhat neglected during both of my visits. On a positive note, the cashiers were very friendly and engaging. Although they do place a hold on your account when you get gas, the amount is usually minimal.

Honestly, it's unacceptable to see this at a gas station, especially at a truck stop. Having worked for a different gas station, I know the rules and regulations well, and smoking at the pumps is definitely prohibited due to the safety hazards it poses. They even have signs about it posted right on the pumps. I'm incredibly disappointed and disgusted by how this facility chooses to operate.
