Bluffs China Buffet - Council Bluffs

Delicious food at an excellent price! The buffet is consistently fresh, well-stocked, and clean. To celebrate the anniversary of their establishment, they’re offering special pricing for lunch and dinner throughout December, making this buffet an incredibly budget-friendly choice for tasty Chinese dishes. They serve classic Chinese cuisine, a salad bar, and a selection of desserts. Additionally, there’s a Mongolian-style grill where you can select your own raw meats and vegetables for the chef to cook. Overall, it’s a lovely little restaurant. I would give it a 4 out of 5 on my Grit scale.

Visit when it's bustling! The China Buffet in Council Bluffs has significantly improved its reputation lately. The food quality, which used to be questionable, is now much better, and the atmosphere has also seen a positive change. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, but make sure to go during peak hours. Buffets often become a bit lax about food freshness during slower times. However, when it’s busy, the experience is definitely worth the price! Plus, they always have my favorite dish: Broccoli and Chicken!

I've been dining here for over 25 years, since I was a kid, and I go at least 10 times a year. The only issues I've encountered were when they occasionally ran low on food and didn't replenish it immediately, and once I had a problem with a glass cup. This place offers the best buffet around, with all-you-can-eat salmon, crab legs, and my favorite chicken dish. So it's time to stop the jealousy and leave your problems behind.
