Everything is done by hand in the restaurant, very courteous and helpful. I'm glad we stopped here before we went through Sedona. Large portion sizes and amazing taste. Unique dishes such as Tinga, Nopales and homemade authentic Gorditas.
We actually stopped at another Mexican restaurant that had a higher rating but it was closed. So we found this one and am super glad we did! It’s not in the main section of town so am sure a lot of people miss it. But that is their mistake. This is a very warm, inviting, down to earth authentic restaurant that has not become “touristy.” The waitress super helpful in recommending house favorites. The fish tacos were to die for. The salsas wonderful and homemade. The tortillas and chips home made. Everything cooked to order. We asked for guacamole but the waitress said the avocados weren’t good and they didn’t want to service something not good. Altho disappointed, we understood. And then we tasted the rest of the food awesome! Highly recommend. Oh, and by the way. We stopped another day at the restaurant with the high ratings. Yes, they had guacamole, doubtful homemade and if so, pre prepared. Same with the corn tortillas. Seriously, if we’d been more hungry we would have gone back to las salsitas!
Love this place and highly recommend it. I asked the waitress for a recommendation because I am not familiar with real Mexican food. So glad I did
The food is amazing and the people who work there are super friendly. We came to eat and our baby cried so they offered him to hold him and carry him while we ate. All in all, it was a very positive atmosphere. We will definitely be regularly in this restaurant
