Inn On The Marsh - Cotswold

Real old-fashioned pubs are nowadays a dying breed, so it was really refreshing to find these in morton when some friends meet for lunch. a log burner, a wing armchair and Christmas songs play on the record player (yes, actual vinyl! were all welcome sights when we visited December. the staff was friendly and helpful and the beer was good. only the mark on 4 stars due to a limited and basic menu, but this is also an old-fashioned pub training and there is nothing wrong with classic pub bur!

Absolutely loved this place, the landlord is a really nice guy and makes you feel welcome, we had a meal on a Saturday evening ok the pub was very quiet but then most of the other pubs around the area seemed quiet too, Our meals and desserts were lovely we sat in the conservatory and the landlord put the fire on for my wife after our meals we moved into the pub and sat on a very comfortable sofa it was like being at home, the landlord chatted to us on several occasions throughout the evening and we will not hesitate to go back the next time we staying in the area, it's a shame they don't have accommodation as we would definitely book a room.

Quirky little pub basic food ,but very very nice. would recommend you pay a visit. check opening times.
