Sweet Basil - Costa Mesa

The food was great, and the service was pleasant. The prices are comparable to other places in the area: large portions are $17 and small portions are $10. Both the lasagna and pasta cost $13 each. The servings are generous, and we ended up taking some leftovers home.

Traditional Italian gem run by locals! I highly recommend the Antipasto Salad and the Eggplant Parmesan. Both were excellent! I will definitely be back!

By far the best tasting AND most affordable Italian restaurant I've had nearby! The prices were all very affordable, and the selection of pasta is vast. I ordered the Pasta Special and it was perfect. It had a ton of chicken and artichoke. The tiramisu was excellent as well, it was full of flavor.

Food was pretty good. Quick takeout service. Nice staff. Had the chicken marsala and a pepperoni pizza. Pizza was really good but very greasy, chicken was kind of saltly, and I am a salt-a-holic, so for me to say that, that's saying something. Otherwise still pretty darn good
