Shucks Oyster - Costa Mesa

If you are looking for a place that has over 25 types of oysters and has very friendly customer service, I recommend Shuck Oyster Bar. The staff here is very friendly and will help make recommendations based on preferences such as oyster size and aromas (briny, sweet, etc.). They also have other foods such as Clam Chowder, lobster rolls and uni Pasta. This morning, because the waitress can be quite long.

Ordered oysters, the lobster linguine and lobster roll. The lobster roll and lobster linguine were pretty good but a little bit heavy. We were a little bit disappointed at the chefs choice of oysters.

The extra mile they done to prepare their oyster is astoundingly detailed. If you are oyster fan, this is the a must if you’re in town! Don’t know if they would pop off and hard to get seating in the near future, so far there’s always 90% capacity. Follows covid procedures and has outdoor seating.

Best, freshest, most varietal oysters in town. Service is always excellent. Great to come here for a date night or happy hour with girlfriends.

One of my favorite spots! My friend and I like to come here. The food is delicious and the service is great! I highly recommend sitting at the bar and asking for Darryl, he offers great oysters/drink recommendations. Great date night place.
