Memphis Cafe - Costa Mesa

This was a fantastic place to meet up with old band members. The food and cocktails were outstanding, and we had an amazing time.

I visited the restaurant on a Saturday around 10am. Please note that the parking lot is small, so make sure to give yourself extra time to find a parking spot. We were seated promptly inside and the service was excellent. Both the hostess and waitress were attentive to our needs. As for the food, I ordered the special crab cakes benedict and it was delicious. The hollandaise sauce was perfect and the eggs were poached just right. My wife had the classic chicken and waffles, which is always a good choice. If you're a fan of their gravy like we are, you can always order an extra side of it!

We ordered shrimp and grits and a corned beef breakfast burrito for evening delivery. Everything was delicious. The shrimp sauce was a unique blend with roasted okra, house-made grill sauce, mild green chili sauce, and perfectly cooked shrimp and scrambled eggs. 5 stars. The breakfast burrito had a more subtle flavor, but everything was fresh and delicious. Each bite had a piece of flavorful corned beef. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the tortilla was fresh, making it a satisfying meal. The environmentally friendly packaging was also a plus. I called Memphis Cafe because DoorDash did not list the ingredients of one menu item, and Phil was incredibly helpful. Overall, 5 stars for the delivery, food, service, and packaging. We can't wait to try more items from their menu.

They make one fall and get the Cobra chicken sandwich and then they have a fried egg added to this evil young. their taste buds will thank them as they dedicate this crispy sandwich to the delicious. I've been here for years and I never had a bad meal. the service is always friendly and I love the funky style that everyone has. When they come to the breakfast, I would suggest getting the hunch and waffel. but to be honest, it's all soou good, so just choose something, relax and enjoy eating. cheers
