La Vida Cantina - Costa Mesa

I went for my friends birthday, The food was subpar, and I got sick. They told my friend that the music was going to be Latin flavour, after all it’s a Mexican restaurant. Both DJs were bad. They should know how to read a room, because no one was really dancing. I give this place a thumbs down because it was an overall disappointment and the food was bland, and the chips were to greasy resulting in me getting sick.

Has a blast! Bottomless mimosas did exactly what needed to be done. They were constantly topping us off I wasn't able to keep count of how many I had. The food was really good. It was such a vibe!

I’ve been here several times and now know not to order off anything from the happy hour menu. Food isn’t as good as the regular items! Service is usually good. It can get crowded and wait time can be extensive on busy days!

Very disappointed. The food was okay our waitress was amazing. My mother and I needed to use the restroom and she didn't want them to think that we disappeared on the check. She walked over to let them know. When we came back to the restroom our table was completely cleaned off. My mom and I look at each other like what just happened! We go sit there waiting for the bill. The waitress brings it to us cuz it's sitting on another table. As we're trying to fill out the receipt to pay the employee walks over with a tablecloth and makes us move from the table. We then had to stand by the register to pay like we were at fast food. Not a great experience for our first time being out of new restaurant.

You have to be extra careful because they take advantage of you if you are buying drinks! Be very wary of what you buy because they will purposely add things to your tab to make money! Never going there again for one person they charged me almost 400 hmmmmmmm and they stopped responding nah these people are crooks!
