Holé Molé - Costa Mesa

I typically visit for Taco Tuesdays. The food is great! However, be sure to double-check your order before leaving, as they have mixed up my orders on two occasions. Since I was dining in, it wasn’t a huge inconvenience.

The food was excellent—well-prepared and nicely packaged for takeout. It would be helpful to have size estimates for certain orders, as the tacos were quite small while the burritos were huge. I also wish the salsa bar was a bit easier to access. The staff was incredibly kind and responsive, and they were very helpful in assisting us with our order since it was our first visit.

This was my first visit to the restaurant. I had a coupon for fish tacos for $1.50 or shrimp tacos for $1.75, and it didn't say I couldn't order both. I ended up ordering 6 fish tacos and 6 shrimp tacos, but I was given a hard time about it. I almost decided to leave, but in the end, they honored the coupon. The food was decent, and I plan to try other items on the menu in the future.

The fish tacos had a slightly more intense fishy odor than I cared for. Like they were definitely on their last day before needing to be tossed. Crunchy tacos were on point and made up for it. Definitely try the potato ones and the carnitas ones, youwon't regret it! ????

Hole Mole is always so very tasty and inexpensive! I like this location. It?s fancier than the place over in Newport, but the food is equally good. Funnily, both locations share difficult parking availability but it?s worth the wait if needed. Had theirfish tacos with rice and beans on the side. Clean, cheap and yummy! What else do you need to ask for?
