I really enjoy this restaurant. The staff are friendly and attentive, and although you need to order at the counter, they make a point to check in on you to ensure that your meal meets your expectations, which I really appreciate. The food is delicious; the ribs are among the best I've ever had. Here, the focus is truly on the meat—the grilled sauces take a backseat. The meat is excellent. I also think the potato salad and baked beans are fantastic, and the blueberry cornbread was quite good as well. I tried the "stacked house" sandwich, which I believe is a brisket and pulled pork combination, and I enjoyed it immensely. My husband loves the tacos; they contain just a generous portion of white meat chicken on some tortillas, which is exactly what he enjoys. So if you're looking for a reliable BBQ experience, this is the place to go. The only thing I would suggest is that the sauces could use a little improvement; they’re not as flavorful as I’d like. But as I mentioned, the meat is really the star here, along with the excellent service!
