El Palenque Mexican And Cantina

The service at this restaurant is attentive and friendly, and the interior has a lovely atmosphere. The salsa and chips are fantastic, and they even include a dish of refried beans as a nice touch. I visited during happy hour (if I remember correctly, they have half-off appetizers, a selection of beers, and well drinks), and I ordered the super nachos, which hit the spot after a long Monday. On Mondays, they also have Margarita Mondays, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the margarita—most places tend to water theirs down during specials, but not here. I sat in the Cantina, and the only thing that could be improved was the lighting; it felt a bit harsh with the fluorescent lights. This area would be much more inviting if those lights were replaced in the future. Overall, I can definitely see myself becoming a regular at this place!

Place was outstanding in all aspects. Food was great service was top notch. We will be eating here again

Beautiful interior. The beer was ice cold and the food tasted great. Very nice people too!

Finally got to stop here and although I thought the salsa was a little hot (because I'm a baby) it didn't stop me from eating it all. The food was really good. Can't wait to go back next time we're in town.
