Bidrage med feedbackIt is difficult to find a good, casual, mid range priced restaurant in the downtown area of Cortina. We went here as a treat on our last night and felt that the food was of very good quality but our bill turned out surprisingly high. The dishes we ordered were great: We each got a soup (one vegetable soup, one bean soup and salads make your own from a collection. The soups were both lovely, especially the bean soup which is served with a drizzle of olive oil and grated cheese. Service was prompt and friendly. We had one glass of wine each and no dessert. It turned out that the bottle of water we were served when we arrived was 5 euros (tasty still water, though unnecessary! and there is a 3 euro cover charge per person, which we felt was rather steep for a basket of bread. I think that the cover charge, steeply priced dishes and fancy water is standard practice for many Cortina restaurants. If you are looking for a nice meal and don't mind paying extra for the experience, I would recommend this restaurant. Though we enjoyed the food, it wasn't a particularly memorable experience for us and we will likely try to find more casual restaurants outside the center next time we go to Cortina.
It was a really good experience, the old style in the center of Cortina with it's elegance and timeless charisma. The waiters are very nice, and give you the impression that you are at home. Great place for the aprés-ski! You can seat outside with a lovely view, and don't miss the Vodka Tangerine! Just amazing!
We had a lovely dinner here. It is tiny and the service is impeccable. The red bean soup was delicious and the mediterranean style baked fish was incredibly fresh and wonderful.
A reference point for the city. provided with everything, fantastic home department.
Personally I only had the pleasure of being able to make an aperitif in one of the tables outside, great and super recommended. This hotel is the history of this city. recommended.
