The Vine Juice Company Meadowbrook

Corpus Christi is lucky to have businesses like The Vine. I have enjoyed their little drive thru space and buying from the markets I love going to, but their Meadowbrook location takes the cake! It is a bright, creative and energizing space with a true sense of community. I love their juices (from celery to beets and all the boosters) but the smoothie bowls are my faves. Can you tell from my goofy smile?! So delish!

The smoothies at this restaurant are fantastic and the staff is wonderful. Adria, the Manager, is excellent and deserves a raise.

I arrived at the restaurant around 11:30 this morning to try it out, but ended up waiting for nearly 10 minutes at the register without anyone taking my order. Despite hearing activity in the kitchen, no one came to assist me. Ultimately, I left and went to a different restaurant.

I visited this restaurant today and appreciated the concept of the place. However, I have been to many juice bars back home and have never experienced such inconsiderate service. Despite there being only one other customer and the place not being busy at all, my request for no coconut in my acai bowl was ignored and the dish was overwhelmingly filled with coconut flakes and coconut milk. It was a disappointing experience and I will not be returning. It was the worst 10 dollars I have ever spent.
