Bidrage med feedbackToday I came here at 12 noon for lunch, I would say that eating is good. the sweet dishes such as the Gauner, steamed cauliflower and naanbrot were considered my favorite. also the desserts as with cut carrot and rice pudding were great. when we saw the bill at the end of our meal, we discovered that it was not the same price that they were shown outside, and at some unfortunate we said to ourselves, it would have been better if we were eating with this price elsewhere.
Loved the food! Fresh and very flavorful! Chicken kebabs were well done, with right seasoning! Butter Chicken was very rich and flavorful as well with right amount of kick to it. Not too spicy, not too bland. Service was amazing as well. They kept checking on us to make sure all our needs were met.
Not that I am an expert in Indian Cuisine but is the best butter chicken I ever had. Five stars hands down!!!
First of all, I don't know what people are talking about when they say this food isn't good. This food was perfect. I have had this type of Indian food in Baghdad, Hawaii, Washington state. This food was just fine! The young man at the front desk was super nice and welcoming. They were serving the lunch buffet but I always order vindaloo, so he set me up and asked me to have a seat while I waited for my food. it was about $20 for a portion size perfect for two. Food came out in about ten minutes. I love my food very spicy so I would just get the highest level of spice, as my medium could have been more spicy. I also could have had more chunky pieces of chicken but thats just being critical. I had a great experience at Royal India and highly recommend it to anyone who would like give Indian food a try, since good Indian food is hard to come by in these parts. Thank god I found my new favorite Indian spot. Two thumbs up!!
The restaurant was poorly lit and felt very dirty. The food was below average with a lack in flavor. The garlic naan was not fully cooked through and had what looked like debris from another dish on the wrapping. This makes me question proper storage of cooked and uncooked food items. Indian food is known to be savory but this food was anything but savory. All in all the butter chicken from HEB in the frozen section tastes better. Save the money and buy that one. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I believe that management should be fully aware as well as the customers that come to support their business.
