Church's Texas Chicken - Corpus Christi

I placed an order at the drive-thru and was informed that it would take 15 minutes for fresh fried chicken. After waiting, they told me it would be another 3 minutes for the biscuits. Once I finally got my order and got home, I found that the chicken was warm but definitely not freshly fried. All of the pieces I received were legs, and the biscuits were neither hot nor freshly made. I actually saw them preparing everything, but I ended up with the leftovers instead.

I was extremely disappointed with my visit. This restaurant used to be my go-to spot for fresh, hot, delicious chicken, but that’s no longer the case. They only had enough dark meat to fill a family meal deal, with nothing extra available for the night. The chicken they served tasted like it was cooked in old, dirty oil, and it was overcooked and not fresh. The side dishes were equally disappointing; the French fries were old, cold, and soggy. To top it all off, the customer service was lacking as well. I regret spending $50 here tonight.

I tell you what.. hands down best location here in the city. Best taste, service and overall quality you look for when spending your hard earned money on food. It was superb and delicious tasting! Definitely will come back when the craving hits! 10/10!! Must visit if you haven't already! Well I went by for my favorite items and it wasn't correct the first time and I went back the manager was happy to take care of me and fix my order and made it correct. This makes it so worthwhile making it my favorite location to go to.

The meal was fantastic—fresh, piping hot, tender, and full of flavorful juices.

This is the best Church's in town! It’s clean, and the staff is fantastic.
