A La Mode Gelateria - Corpus Christi

It was nice to find this place after lunch at the same mall. Great Gelato!

Lots of choices...all were great! Can't wait to go back and try a bigger dessert. We only got scoops.

The food and service at this cafe are exceptional compared to many other places. I really enjoy dining here; the food service is excellent. I plan to return with my team next time. There's a really nice atmosphere, and I can understand why they receive so many positive reviews.

We also tried the Hawaiian Brio, described as a gelato-filled donut. However, the bread was more reminiscent of a warm Hawaiian sweet bread. I chose to have it with chocolate sauce and fantastic coffee gelato. While the Brio was good, the fresh crepe truly stole the spotlight! This is definitely a must-have every time we visit North Padre!

This place is incredible, whether you visit the one at HEB or the one on the island. I ordered a waffle topped with gelato, Nutella, strawberries, and bananas, and it was one of the best waffles I’ve ever had. The waffle was sweet and fluffy, with a homemade taste to the batter. The gelato was fantastic and complemented the waffle perfectly. The gelato at the HEB location is just as delicious as the one here. Additionally, the coffee at HEB is outstanding, so I highly recommend stopping by if you find yourself in Flour Bluff! Both locations are wonderful, and I can’t wait for my next treat at either one!
