Coronado Firehouse Grill

Ehhh, it 's ok. I have trouble with a dining experience like this and trouble writing the review.The food was good, service also not disappointing but I won 't rush back.A Dining experience is all encompassing and it 's hard to feel good about spending $22 for a California burrito when my local Roberto 's sells the same thing for $9.50.Sure, I got 3 different salsas instead of the standard red green. But still no chips salsa, still with paper napkins...menu is so uninspiring, like a Roberto 's fast food with a gorgeous dining room. $40 for a beer and a typical burrito just doesn 't make sense.The menu prices are definitely paying for a mediocre live band that struggled from distortion and ear piercing mic feedback.Look at this picture on a Friday night at 9:20PM with live music and I can tell the community agrees. I know Coronado probably has expensive rent but this was not great value. Kudos to the cooks and bartenders for doing a good job with what you have.Owners may want to revisit the menu and focus on filling seats vs. a wildly inflated check average per person on common Mexican fast food with flare . Just my two cents... but my cents also don 't go far here so I 'll check out something else next time I want to spend them.

Very disappointed. This restaurant is not what it used to be. Our meal was lukewarm and the service was very lacking. It was almost as if we were invisible. We watched the server help everyone but us. Very frustrating to be ignored and we feel that the money we spent here was wasted. The restroom was not clean and the supplies were lacking. A total disappointment and not recommended. Save your money for somewhere (anywhere) else. It was that bad. Also, don't bother trying to speak with a manager as it's not going to happen.

Excellent food and service. The portions are very large. The Serrano's burrito is enough for two people.

The margarita and SALSA omg you gotta go for the salsa.

Well I was hungry for some good Mexican food.Sorry that it wasn't here.Food was way over salted, greasy/oily. Tasteless. very disappointing. Service- Wife and Waitress had a disagreement on what my Wife wanted. Waitress won that argument. She brought my Wife what She the Waitress wanted and not my Wife's request. After that disagreement there was a attitude problem with the Waitress.I could not finish what I ordered. Very salty and the oil poured out if the Burritos when I tried to pick it up and eat it. Could only swallow half of the burrito. Ambiance was ruined because of the above issues.
