Bidrage med feedbackI adore Warren's pasties. Grab a pasty and a cup of tea to go. Head over to Cape Cornwall and enjoy watching the sun set in the west. It's like heaven!
This restaurant is known as the oldest pasty maker in Cornwall. I tried the giant traditional pasty and it was absolutely delicious. Having tried many Cornish pasties over the years, I would say this one ranks near the top with plenty of filling, perfect pastry, and served nice and hot. We enjoyed our meal sitting on the bench outside with a hot drink, the best way to savor the experience!
I have been to this bakery many times before whilst staying on holiday in Pendeen. The staff have always been lovely and people are usually queuing to get inside which should speak volumes. However as I live over 250+ miles away, I decided to place an online order. Whilst the Cornish pasties I ordered were fantastic and brought back happy memories, the Saffron tea loaf dried out very quickly and was too crumbly. The price of £9.50 for one Saffron tea loaf was EXTORTIONATE as the loaf was certainly NOT even worth £2.00. Yes to having pasties again, but I will avoid the Saffron tea loaf as it was very poor.
This restaurant is a great place to enjoy a pastry, a hot chocolate, a saffron bun, a decaf coffee, or a cup of tea.
Its Warren's, it's a chicken pasty..... they all taste the same which is fair enough and they are tasty...its the Cornish equivalent of fast food.
