Decent locally brewed beer, i tried several and they were all kept well. Very friendly staff and customers, mostly locals as it was November. Nice cosy pub.

While wandering around, we unexpectedly came across The Crown located on a side street and at the corner of a residential square. The ambiance of the bar reminded us of small establishments found in European towns on the outskirts. They offer a nice selection of beers on tap from the Cornish Crown brewery, owned by the bar. Our purely research-based decision led us to try their three cask beers, all of which were excellent - served at the perfect temperature and expertly poured. The bar is cozy yet spacious, impeccably clean, and adorned with fresh flowers on each table. Outdoor seating is available on the square's edge, making it a delightful spot to soak up the sun. The young woman tending the bar was friendly and personable. If you find yourself in Penzance, The Crown is definitely worth a visit - conveniently located just a few minutes from the train and bus station. We highly recommend this gem and will certainly be returning when we are in the area again.

Great little back street pub with charm and tranquility. Outside seating and plenty of events for the evenings.
