We arrived at the restaurant at 1:15 on a quiet day with 4 staff members present. Since we didn't have a reservation, we were only offered cream teas, which was understandable. However, the service was extremely poor. After being seated, we were told that someone would come to take our order but nobody did. We eventually had to approach a waitress at the bar who promised to attend to us shortly. It seemed that the person who I assume was the manager told her he would do it himself but instead served another table. A different waitress eventually took our order for 3 cream teas, but we had to wait 10 minutes for a black coffee and 2 pots of tea. The scones took even longer to arrive, and we had to ask multiple times for our order. Other tables who arrived after us were served before us, and we ended up waiting over an hour for our cream teas. The service was slow, and the manager appeared to be rude and dismissive to both customers and staff. I would not recommend this restaurant as the service did not match the price of the food. The scones were tasty but cold, and the tea pots only had enough for one cup each. We had to repeatedly ask for our food, drinks, and bill.

Gluten free afternoon tea was a delight! I loved being able to sample all of the teas with my tiny sandwiches. It was wonderful to have a proper gluten free scone with all the trimmings. An excellent spot for a celiac/coeliac or a mixed group.

I recently dined at a new restaurant that offers an amazing afternoon tea and delicious fizzy drinks. The experience was absolutely wonderful, and the staff were lovely. The price per person for this meal type was between £50-£60.
