Bidrage med feedbackDuring our trip to Cornwall, we stayed at this hotel. The location is beautiful, with stunning views around the pub and hotel. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, perfect for our needs. We decided to dine at the restaurant and were very pleased with the delicious locally sourced food, some of which came from the farm across the road. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. Meals were served quickly and we were well taken care of by the pub team. The breakfast the next morning was equally delicious, leaving us satisfied for the rest of our journey. I highly recommend this pub/hotel and would gladly stay here again if I am in the area.
Outstanding Pub, Amazing Food, Incredible Atmosphere. Ever since the new management took over, my wife and I have been frequenting this establishment. Whether it be for a quick drink, a meal, or an evening of entertainment, we have always been warmly greeted by both the staff and the other patrons. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, a rarity these days. It truly is a traditional pub, which is a delightful discovery in today's world. We even had the pleasure of meeting Stella, the pub dog, who is an absolute sweetheart. Don't be put off by the occasional barking, she's just saying hello. There are also a multitude of entertainment options coming up in the future. Sam and Dean have done an incredible job turning this pub into a place we want to visit time and time again. Highly recommend giving it a try.
They provided great food, very varied. The staff were kind and efficient. There were lots of locals eating, a good sign. Plenty of parking
We were greeted by a lovely German shepherd dog who was incredibly friendly to us and our friends. She barked a bit to get our attention, but then happily played ball with us. We all loved her. The owners of the restaurant were fantastic people who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. They made us feel welcome and part of the pub. Every moment spent there was well worth it.
On arrival to fox and hounds in scorrier redruth we was greeted by a very aggressive Alsatian type of dog, who turned out to be the land lords dog, maybe they should prevent this as it’s quite large and intimidating on arrival, we ordered drinks and sat down, shortly later we ordered food, food wasn’t too bad but average really apart from the Alsatian urinating on the bar, it rather put us off, safe to say we won’t be returning next time we come on holiday to lovely cornwall, no stars not impressed
