Cafe Widemouth

As expected the usual over inflated prices for a beachside cafe. Have to comment however on the staff. They were all SO miserable. A smile goes a long way and to not smile even once while greeting and serving customers perhaps a customer facing job isn’t for them.

Situated next to Widemouth Beach this friendly cafe serves great well cooked food. The staff are very courteous and maintain the tables to a very clean standard.

The service at this restaurant was truly wonderful, thanks to the girls. They offer gluten-free and vegan options, as well as great value for money. They even have WiFi and allowed me to charge my phone a bit so I could pay for the bus ride home. We will definitely be returning.

We haven't been here in a while so thought we would give it a go. We both had fish, chips and coffee. Good quick service and great food with a sea view. I'm sure we will be back during the winter months.

Great little beach cafe with seating inside and out and plenty of paid parking on site. The staff are welcoming and fun, food quality high, (especially the Breakfast Stack), portion sizes generous and prices reasonable. Dog friendly too. Also runs a loyalty card for coffee which runs from one year to the next. Well worth a visit.
