Peppermills Grill & Bakery - Cornwall

We were here from a Friday to Sunday. Had the excellent buffet breakfast [included] twice. Varied somewhat each day, particularly with the varieties of hot meats [bacon/ham/breakfast sausage/spicy sausage, etc]. Both the breakfasts and the dinner menu were excellent and the dinner entrees were all reasonably priced for what you received. Hot food was served hot [always a bonus] and the wine

Cornwall seems to have the best customer service than any other city I've ever been to. Pepper mills has delicious food and great staff. I highly recommend the mushroom risotto balls and portobello mushroom burger.

We (3 couples) came for the advertised Sunday prime rib dinner. After taking our orders, the waiter came back and said they had run out of prime rib. As this was very early in the dinner hour and the restaurant was not busy, that was poor kitchen management. We ordered substitute meals and they were excellent but not what we came for. The waiter was very gracious and comped our desserts, somewhat redeeming the restaurant. We will be back but I hope they do better planning next time.

This is where the buffet breakfast is served. Excellent quality food and it changes day to day so you aren't eating exactly the same thing every day if you are there for a long stay. I ate 2 evening meals here. Pulled pork tacos and fish tacos. These are a must have. Very generous portion size and very well done. If I am back in Cornwall I will be having these again. Club wrap. This was well put together. Exactly what I would expect from a club wrap but just seemed better. Not sure what but it tasted fantastic.

This is a nice restaurant with good decor. The food is well prepared and reasonable value for money. Unfortunately our visit was somewhat spoiled by a family group at the bar who seemed to want everyone in the restaurant to know the intimate details of their lives.The Breakfast buffet was very good with a nice selection, although interestingly bacon was the only meat available (no sausage or ham). Self-service buffet so no real comment on the service for this part.
