Bartels Giant Burger - Corning

Not as good as I remember. The wait is okay and the hamburger wasn't bad. The ambiance feels dirty/old.

We took our food to go but the prices have went up since I've been there last so I don't think I'll be going

It's a little hole-in-the-wall and a perfect stop to take a break on our way home from a Shasta black bass tournament. The parking lot is well suited for our boat trailer and/or if you have pets (the patio offers outside dining if preferred.)The three ladies working the kitchen were very nice and brought our meals to our table without prompting. My husband had the Polish Dog with onion rings and I had the tatertots because they don't serve corndogs.Our experience was very pleasant, but we just heard that the owner is anti-cop. Had a few hiccups with the order and was very pricey for the amount you got. The food was good however a 'jumbo burger was the size of a regular burger in my opinion. It was nice that you could customize your burger.

Very rude customer service. Shakes were made way before food and were like drinking flavored milk. Onion rings were litterly soggy like they were dipped in oil and warmed up. They were still frozen in the middle. Bartels use to be amazing. I don't know what happened but I won't be back
