Pizza Delight - Corner Brook

Food is good and lots to choose from. They usually have a buffet at lunch time with lots to choose from.

We ordered delivery Saturday night for three of us staying at the comfort Inn. One lasagna and two panzerotti all with side salads. To start they didn't send utensils and all three meals were luke warm and tasted like over microwaved Chef Boyardee.

We came here today to eat lunch and arrived at noon. The restaurant was fairly busy and it took some time to be seated. We took the buffet menu for $10.99 for adults and $5.99 for children. The food came out in portions. When we arrived they had one pizza, soup, potato casserole, meatballs and lasagna. My image of the pizza bar was like watching birds waiting for someone to drop bread on the ground. When a pizza arrived, everyone jumped to get a warm piece. Overall, you get what you pay for in this atmosphere.

$10.99 for AYCE lunch till 2 pm. We arrived just after 1 pm, and that might have been part of the problem. A decent Garden salad and Caesar Salad, a selection of pastas, several pizzas, some soup and a toast your own bread station. In theory - looked good. However, perhaps because we caught the tail end of the meal, the pastas were gelatinous, the pizzas cold - Garden salad was good, Caesar Salad was "heavy". The toast station came with an assortment of "butters" - the ones we tried seemed "oily" or oleo, definitely not butter. They had an apple and a blueberry desert pizza, both were good. For the price, food was adequate.

Was there tonight.....what an unfriendly place! Stood at door and a man who might have been the manager stood 2 feet away from us. He was working on the computer and never said hi or will be right with you....and we stood there awhile. He just totally ignored us. We left and he never said a word. No other staff member looked our way either. The restaurant have about 4 tables of customers. Not nice!
