Do yourself a favor and visit this fantastic restaurant. The food is simply incredible—everything we tried was absolutely delightful. The service is outstanding, and the staff genuinely cares about your experience. It was definitely the best meal we’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend the choplins!

My fiancée and I read a lot about this restaurant and we were thrilled to hear how this was a local cook in what should be a more sophisticated culinary experience. We were surprised to see that this restaurant was in a strip mall. So it wasn't really what we expected from the beginning and it just remained disappointed from there. The highlights of the meal were drinks, salmon and French onion soup. We started with the French onion soup and the Crab and Artichoke Dip. The onion soup was great, but the Crab Artichoke Dip was blande without taste of crabs at all. It would have been just an artichoke, and we never knew. These tables around us served bread and butter to their tables, but our server neglected to bring them to our table. It would have been nice to have the French onion soup. We waited about 20 minutes to get our dinner served, but it was incomplete to start. My fiancée got the salmon she said tasted really good. I ordered the steak with spinach and green beans. I asked for a balsamic vinegar for the spinach and my green beans were delayed. The steak was tender, but it could have been seasoned more. We both noticed that the food presentation was absolutely missing. It was simple. My green beans came very late into the meal together with my balsamico, although they gave me a balsamico glaze when I asked for Balsamico vinegar. I tried it with the boiled spinach and it was terrible. It was so untouched. Our server was missing for most meals and we waited some time to return. I wanted to order another drink, but that never happened. We waited and waited to pay while the table went around us and was revived. I asked the hostess if I could get my server, and about 5-7 minutes later the hostess returned and said that they could not get the attention of my server. She offered us a free desert that was beautiful, but we don't eat desserts, so we refused. She finally returned with our check after we asked, and she removed our drinks from our bill, which is why this was a 3-star rating and not a 2-star rating. My server finally came up after we had the Hostess work to get us our check and payment. She also offered a free dessert, but we went back. Our reservation was before 6:00 and the restaurant was not busy when we arrived, but she said that her really big table preoccupied her time. She should have asked her colleagues for help when she knew she was predisposed by other tables. I hoped more, but it was more of a total disappointment than anything else. I probably wouldn't return because it wasn't really worth the price we paid.

The atmosphere was calming and good to the soul. Background music great. The server was very polite and polished. Gave extra knowledge about what to eat on the menu. Definitely will be back. Everyone should try the Strawberry cake yummy

We dined here on June 29, 2022, and both my wife and I agree that this is among the top three restaurants we've ever visited in the country. It's definitely the best restaurant in Charlotte. We can't wait to go back soon!

My husband I tried Choplin?s for the first time tonight and were blown away. The mozzarella appetizer was to die for as was the duck entree. I wasn?t able to get a picture of the beef medallions before my husband inhaled them. We cannot wait to come back on our next date night. Thank you for treating us to a delicious meal!
