Kubo - Cork

Last weekend, we tried ordering two chicken noodle meals, but once again we were disappointed. The noodles were rubbery, there was hardly any chicken, and the dish was overwhelmed by a strong sauce, likely soy sauce. It was inedible. It's unfortunate that Kubo seems to prioritize quantity over quality. I regret to say that I won't be ordering from them again, as there are other places that still value good food.

Terrible customer service and subpar food. I ordered online and was told to expect a wait of 45 minutes. After waiting 40 minutes, I received a text stating they were too busy to fulfill my order and that a refund had been processed. That was it—nothing more. Overall, an unacceptable experience with disappointing food.

I visited this restaurant for the first time to grab a takeaway for a late lunch while working, and it truly is a gem. The service was quick, the flavors were fantastic, and I devoured everything. I can't wait to return the next time I'm in the area. The two small bites of chicken with chips were amazing, and the chicken noodles were absolutely delightful! The only minor issue was the thin noodles; I found them a bit dry for my taste. As for the complimentary bottle of wine with orders over a certain amount, I couldn't drink it, so I took it home. Thank you for everything!

I have ordered from Kubo twice online about 6 months between each order. Both times, they cancelled with no reason and did not answer the phone. The food may be good, but if you order online, you may just never know. Both times I ordered they cancelled about 40 minutes after the order.... meaning, to order from another restaurant only leaves hungry family members. Won’t be ordering again.

We have ordered takeaway a number of times during lock down and are impressed with the food we all have favourites that we order most times the timed collection option is great
