Fernroyd House - Cork

Avril and Tony treat everyone like a friend. I never had such a breakfast in Ireland ever, freshly baked little scone, a choice of cooked food, not just the fry. I couldn't do justice to the two breakfasts I had. I gave Avril a hug leaving, first time I did that to a B&B landlady. I am not surprised TripAdvisor have given them certificates.

Over 40 years of B Bs this one has not been beaten. Avril Tony are perfect host's very friendly and knowledgeable. Everything is clean and tidy the food is all you could wish for keeps you going until an evening meal. Fourth visit to Fernroyd would love to come again. The accommodation is excellent as was the breakfast but what made our stay at Fernroyd was the hospitality of Avril and Tony. Tony took real trouble to advise us on our plans for exploring West Cork. We would have missed so much. thank you.

Great B&B, especially because of the owners (Tony and Avril and the breakfast (lovely homemade scones! . T&A made me feel at home with their attentive look at all minor things. Thank you! When I come back to UCC, I'll stay here.

This is a nice clean B&B but what makes it great are the owners, who go far out of their way to help in every way they can. They are friendly, kind and helpful and really helped with information to really get to know the town. Breakfast was fabulous especially the homemade scones and jam. Yum. Highly recommended.
