Bidrage med feedbackThis place had the best pizza I tasted while I was in Ireland. The prices were good. The owner was great! He even gave me the recipe for his SUPERB sauce!
We had dinner here, we took one the classics fast-food menu that offers a good deal but, believe me, this is the worst place I've ever been in years: altough I hate commonplaces (and recently the kebab restaurants don't benefit of good reputation) the meat had orrible taste and I was so idiot to eat it anyway because I was starving. I've passed the next week retching (and other things) until I went to the hospital where they diagnosed me gastroenteritis. Same thing for my girlfriend. I definitely agree with other users when they say that is wrong to promote this as a place for students....unless you hate students.
I ordered a chicken kebab and it was made up of bits of fried chicken in a curry sauce with cabbage. I wasn't expecting that. I opened it and basically it was bits of the leftover fried chicken torn up so there were sinews and skin in there. It wasn't nice. I also ordered a burger and chips on a second occasion. The burger was so soggy and had hard bits in it that stuck in my teeth and I couldn't eat the chips because they tasted awful. They say it's fine for students. It's not fine. Students aren't garbage disposal units. The staff are nice but the food isn't great and the prices are high for what is essentially, disgusting.
... Although Deli Delicious saved my dinner that one time when I was looking for a place to eat late at night after checking into a nearby hotel, everywhere else outside was closed. Thumbs up to Deli Delicious for being open, but I must admit that I would have enjoyed this type of take-away restaurant more years ago when I wasn't as picky. I recommend that those in the area in Cork for business should walk a bit further to find a better meal, if possible. However, if you're on a budget or a young person, why not give it a try and enjoy a full meal combo at a good price. Regardless, I wish you a pleasant dining experience and luck in the future. Goodbye, Epi.
I ordered a shawarma and buffalo wings, but what I received was disappointing. The shawarma was made with tiny shreds of dark leftover chicken from the bottom of the rotisserie. The chicken wings were dry, overcooked, and had an old taste. I paid 10 euros for what amounted to leftover chicken and was not satisfied with the meal. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
