Barryscourt Castle - Cork

The restaurant is currently being renovated. It's great to see that castles are being restored during the lockdown. You definitely need to visit after they reopen!

This is a fascinating historical site that provides a wonderful experience of learning about artifacts, dishes, household items, and furniture. It was enjoyable to imagine what life would be like in a castle. I highly recommend visiting, and I plan to return myself once it reopens.

A NOTICE TO BE MISSED Castle from the 13th to 16th century, which is currently rebuilt, but offers the most beautiful gardens and orchards with the amazing backdrop of the castle. Gardens orchard OPEN all year round
