Taverna Alykes - Corfu

A traditional local tavern right on the beach. Music and dance at night. Swimming, eating, drinking. Truly grilled meat and fish. Fried Courgettes, eggplants, lamb dogs to die, horta, salads. Good parking right on the main street just before Corfu Town account cali after Shell Station.

Very nice atmosphere, best Taramas I have eaten on this island. Very authentic Greek food in general. Besides a beautiful beach, perfect for children.

Where the locals eat. Looks like a low key when approaching, but if you sit down, you are right by the sea shore with great views. Food is simply fresh and extremely good and very favorable. Lamb hacking on bbq are smokey wonderful. Ribeye Steak also on bbq was incredible as the fried Calamari (and the fried baby squid! octopus with huge fresh Greek salad. We ate there twice and would have eaten there if we were longer. Do not judge a restaurant by its appearance!

Decent food. We felt that the waiters were a bit too busy to help us event when we wanted to pay the bill.
