Starenio Bakery - Corfu

We went to this cute little bakery two days in a row, because we LOVED it! The owner is an amazing guy and there‘s lots of vegan options. If you‘re not as pulse triggered as we are you only want to get one piece of pie, go for the upside down apple pie! I gotta correct myself we went there three days in a row and you also gotta try the lemon cake! Updated from previous review on 2024 05 14

Pretty good pastries, my favourite was the olive and tomato it is a lot of pastry to filling ratio. Definitely some of the best bread on the island, we brought a few loaves during our holiday to take back to our airbnb for toast! Pretty affordable too!

This cute little bakery, located in the heart of the old town, offers a lot of vegan delicacies, mainly tasteful pies and some vegan desserts. You should definitely give it a try!

Unbelievable. I have squeezed with excitement in the amount of vegan options. it is a small bakery a little downhill, but don't let them be fooled, starenio grabs a hit. the number of courts they had was incredible. vegan brocolli pie with soybeans vegan spinat pie with vegan cheese. vegan lye and potato pie vegan mushroom pie vegan aubergine and tomato jam pie vegan tahini pie. (in each case less than €2.60) and then so many vegan cakes: cake. on the kiwi cake. matcha cake. Mojito cheesecake, low-fat kumquatcake, apple cake, orange cake, chocolate cake, apple cake, pear cake, fresh nectarin on the head cake. I have the spinach cake that was beautiful and fresh. husband has the matcha,- mango and sage cake that was beautiful. will be back in a few days to check more!

Looooads of vegan cake options (if I went there 6! and many delicious homemade vegan cakes and small snacks as well. I had a crimped, who was literally crumbled oregano, basilikum etc., but actually really nice, all come in compostable packaging as well!
